Description

A mouse grabs a thorn from the lion's paw. First piece in a series of vector children's drawings. Background is temporary. Still trying to find a good setting to tie all the drawings together in.

A few hours of doodling in Illustrator 9.

Funny, I rather like the mouse more! The lion looks kind of blocky, and I first read his mane as a lampshade. This looks like it could be a really interesting style, but just needs those little revisions that only come with practice.

I like this a lot and I agree with Hoon, maybe the mouse could be more blocky and easy like the lion.

It has the crystal quality of a real animation cell ,like it a lot, the mane threw me at first, thought it behind him rather than part of the lion,[or that he was wearing some strange fence type hat}.

Lets just say if it was cropped and called "The King Dancing" then you'd have gotten better critique

Thanks for all the helpful crits. I know the mouse and lion styles don't exactly match... I'm still trying to find my way with this style.
